This month I am partnering with the City of Lighthouse Point Parks & Rec department to create 2 murals on the backboard walls of Frank McDonough Park. The newly installed workout equipment and turf donated by James C. Acheson will be surrounded by a nature inspired design as well as the new LHP Recreation logo designed by yours truly. Here are some progress shots…
Come by this Saturday, May 30th 9-12:00pm to Galuppi’s restaurant Pompano Beach with your cleared out stash of old art supplies benefiting our local community! I will be creating a live chalk mural with former student And SCS graduate Makena Vargo on site as supplies are gathered following social distancing measures.
Saturday March 7th was International Women’s Day at the The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. I was among 4 other female chalk artists asked to recreate a famous work of art by a woman artist. The event took pace along Cranes Nest Way on the south entrance of the museum, with live music and vendors along the street to celebrate the day.
