I created this pavement art piece for Business for Arts of Broward at 201 East Las Olas Blvd this past Thursday, May 19th. The 4th annual Art + Stroll event took place downtown Fort Lauderdale at the 201, 301 and 401 blocks with live chalk art and indoor exhibits. www.bfabroward.org
The annual Lighthouse Point Keeper Day awards were given to two generous and accomplished residents of the city this year. I partnered with the city to create the artwork for this year’s recipients.

This month I am partnering with the City of Lighthouse Point Parks & Rec department to create 2 murals on the backboard walls of Frank McDonough Park. The newly installed workout equipment and turf donated by James C. Acheson will be surrounded by a nature inspired design as well as the new LHP Recreation logo designed by yours truly. Here are some progress shots…
Come by this Saturday, May 30th 9-12:00pm to Galuppi’s restaurant Pompano Beach with your cleared out stash of old art supplies benefiting our local community! I will be creating a live chalk mural with former student And SCS graduate Makena Vargo on site as supplies are gathered following social distancing measures.
Saturday March 7th was International Women’s Day at the The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. I was among 4 other female chalk artists asked to recreate a famous work of art by a woman artist. The event took pace along Cranes Nest Way on the south entrance of the museum, with live music and vendors along the street to celebrate the day.

Art Lit 2020, collaboration of arts and literature hosted by Broward County Libraries and the Pompano Beach Cultural Center was a great success this month. 25 chalk artists joined live painters, virtual reality artists, and more at this 3rd annual community event on Saturday, January 11th. I was happy to continue the role of chalk artist coordinator in helping to bring the art of live street painting to the City of Pompano Beach.
I will be chalking another sidewalk mural for this year’s annual “Magic in the Moonlight” Gala at the Hillsboro Club for the 2nd year in a row. Guests may enjoy dinner under the starts, a silent auction, and a climb to the top of the lighthouse with live music and hors d’oeuvres…
