October 25th, 2023: Sun Sentinel Cover Feature for Broward State of the Arts Address

I created a chalk piece for the annual State of the Arts Address October 25th at the Broward Performing Arts Center last month. The temporary piece of public art made the cover of the Sun Sentinel the following day helping promote the value of the event and future of Broward arts!

Hillsboro Lighthouse Preservation Society Gala

I created art on a historic original ceiling tile from the 1906 lighthouse to be auctioned live at this year’s annual gala under the stars. (acrylic, spray paint, gold leaf & resin)

Las Olas Art + Stroll Mural

I created this pavement art piece for Business for Arts of Broward at 201 East Las Olas Blvd this past Thursday, May 19th. The 4th annual Art + Stroll event took place downtown Fort Lauderdale at the 201, 301 and 401 blocks with live chalk art and indoor exhibits. www.bfabroward.org

The annual Lighthouse Point Keeper Day awards were given to two generous and accomplished residents of the city this year. I partnered with the city to create the artwork for this year’s recipients.

Lighthouse Point Murals June 2020

This month I am partnering with the City of Lighthouse Point Parks & Rec department to create 2 murals on the backboard walls of Frank McDonough Park. The newly installed workout equipment and turf donated by James C. Acheson will be surrounded by a nature inspired design as well as the new LHP Recreation logo designed by yours truly. Pompano Magazine School Supply Drive

Come by this Saturday, May 30th 9-12:00pm to Galuppi’s restaurant Pompano Beach with your cleared out stash of old art supplies benefiting our local community! I will be creating a live chalk mural with former student And SCS graduate Makena Vargo on site as supplies are gathered following social distancing measures.
