Lighthouse Point Murals June 2020
This month I am partnering with the City of Lighthouse Point Parks & Rec department to create 2 murals on the backboard walls of Frank McDonough Park. The newly installed workout equipment and turf donated by James C. Acheson will be surrounded by a nature inspired design as well as the new LHP Recreation logo designed by yours truly. Here are some progress shots…

ArtServe in the Sun Sentinel
August 6th, 2015
The Giving Tree mural completed this past May for the newly relocated ChildNet offices made a feature in the Sun Sentinel newspaper this morning. The murals, based on classic children’s books were designed to create an atmosphere of safety and comfort for the kids brought through this non-profit child welfare system. The four Artserve artists brought in include myself, Jane Casoria, Nadine Floyd, and Lori Pratico.

“Lead Me Into Spring” is a personal painting I am creating for ArtServe’s “Inside/Out- art as Healing Therapy” exhibit coming up next month. The painting is about being led by the Spirit in a season of transition and new adventures. The birds represent the excitement and activity of dreams taking flight, while the woman maintains a quiet heart, anchoring her vision to her well of inspiration. I pray this painting causes you to move forward with the many dreams God excites you with, knowing you are FREE and anchored to His love, which sets us all into flight. ❤️

The King’s Army
I just came across this old painting I’ve since painted over from 2006, and it sort of hit me with story and strength. It is a picture of Jesus pouring His rich inheritance over His people, an army of promise charging forth from a place of blessing and empowerment under His grace. The rose springing from the earth is the life and beauty blossoming and prospering among the emptiness and death That surrounds it. The emerald coming out of the rose is the release of what He did on the earth and it’s broad impact on future generations. This picture reminds me to put myself under His crown, His authority and to be filled with His refreshing, equipping energy to ride confidently into the things He has destined for me.
