The Art Live event at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club Tuesday night was a great success! A live Art event to benefit the Broward Children’s Hospital, 4 artists successfully auctioned their artwork after 90 minutes of live painting on a stage. The evening was filled with music, refreshments, artwork from Rosetti Gallery, & fashion from Body & Soul Boutique in Lighthouse Point. Here are some snapshots featuring local artists John Paul Goncalves, Wendy Nicholas, Kris McDermott, & yours truly. Enjoy!

Surfboard “Color-in” Community Art
Finally saying goodbye to this 6 foot repurposed surfboard from the Yelp Spring Break 2015 Community Color-In with Bailey Contemporary Arts! After outlining a design on a refinished old board, local spring breakers filled in the spaces with sharpie paint pens right on the beach. After a few touch ups and a coat of resin, it is finding its home this week with a lucky buyer. More repurposed board projects to come! Stay tuned

2015 Courage Exhibit
I have the honor and privilege of being apart of an exhibit called “Courage”, a traveling art show with a purpose to showcase artists response to the question, “What does courage look like?” It is an exhibit based in Greensboro, NC and traveling to galleries, hospitals, and showrooms around NC and beyond 2015-2016. I am excited to see the impact of this series!
“Refraction”

“Tiger Lilies”
“Lilies are a symbol of refined beauty and wealth. The tiger represents boldness, confidence, and regal beauty. We are all capable of royal, refined beauty as we move forward in our lives and blossom into our strongest self.”
