The January issue of Deerfield Beach Magazine features my chalk mural recreation of local artist Art Pellenberg’s work. I had fun recreating this 8×11 foot chalk scene to promote the upcoming 37th Annual Deerfield Beach Art Festival Jan. 27-28! Here are a few end shots… >
January 21st, 2017 Pompano Beach hosted its annual Nautical Flea market along with the city of Lighthouse Point. I created a large scale 13×13′ angel fish on Saturday using chalk pastel directly onto the pavement. After priming the street with watered down tempera paint, I filled the fish with brightly colored patterns, using both my hands (yes ouch) & sponges. After a substantial water spill, I was able to fully complete my fishy guy. I had a great time interacting with my community & meeting new faces! Stay tuned for future chalk events…
The newest pop up gallery at Pompano Citi Center hosted another exhibit for local south florida artists this month called #evoke. Featured is my 4 x 8 foot chalk panel titled “Union” created live at Magnetic’s previous event last spring, “Art Pop”.
Chill Lounge Ft. Lauderdale was a great success last night! Huizenga Plaza was filled with outdoor lounges, entertainment & live art Saturday night, April 9th. I created a live chalk piece on canvas from 6-9pm while the party took place.

The theme was “Eat Drink & be Merry”. The international Florida festival in Sarasota relocated to the quaint town of Venice on Florid’s west coast. I created a cluster of jeweled fruit, working alongside many talented artists from around the world in the downtown district with the 2D artists. The larger airport grounds hosted many large scale 3D works, including the world record led by chalk art pioneer Kurt Wenner.
The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art hosted its annual street painting festival October 10th-11th, showcasing 54+ chalk artists from around the country. The theme was patriotic, and the chalk & beer fest was filled with music and fun!
